Mardi Dam, NSWARC supplied unique steel reinforcing fabrication solutions to the Mardi Dam upgrade project. ARC supplied the refinforcing steel used in the complex twenty-two metre high water intake tower for the dam. The Dam will secure the water supply for New South Wales Central Coast’s Wyong Shire and Gosford City for the next twenty years. Click here to download the full case study |

Perth Arena, WAScheduled to open in 2012, the $485 million Perth Arena is designed to replace Perth’s ageing Entertainment Centre in the heart of the city. It will provide four levels of terraced spectator seating for up to 14,000 people, parking for 680 cars below ground and will feature a retractable roof. The scale of the project grew significantly from an originally estimated $250 million. Gateway Upgrade Project, BrisbaneThe $2.12 billion upgrade to Brisbane’s Gateway Bridge is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Queensland history. ARC’s experienced team of engineers, schedulers and bar processors successfully met the challenge of manufacturing large volumes of steel reinforcing for the project, co-ordinating simultaneous supply to a number of construction teams and locations. M5 East Motorway, SydneyThe $795 million M5 East Motorway is a major addition to Sydney’s orbital road network, linking the M5 Motorway to Sydney Airport and the Eastern Distributor. The ten kilometre motorway includes Australia’s longest road tunnels - twin 3.8 kilometre, two lane tunnels running approximately ten metres apart. Awoonga Dam, QLDThe $106 million Awoonga Dam Raising and Infrastructure Project is located 30km south west of Gladstone in the Boyne Valley, Central Queensland.The project increased the capacity of the dam to 800,000 megalitres from its existing capacity of 283,000 megalitres. Millers Storage,SydneyMillers Storage was founded in 1978 and operated the first self storage facility in Australia. ARC provided the purpose built reinforcing mesh for the precast wall panels at the Thornleigh facility.
