ARC is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel reinforcing and fencing products and services. ARC has manufacturing facilities throughout Australia, supported by a comprehensive network of service outlets in both metropolitan and regional centres.
ARC steel reinforcing has been used in the construction of Australian buildings and infrastructure since 1920. The first company in Australia to manufacture steel reinforcing mesh, ARC steel products remain 100 percent Australian made.
ARC employs over 930 people in more than 40 locations across Australia. The company has five manufacturing sites and has the capacity to produce over approx 400,000 tonnes of steel per year.
ARC supplied steel reinforcing to iconic construction projects including the massive Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme, Parliament House in Canberra, Brisbane’s Gateway Bridge, the MCG, Sydney’s Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Perth Convention Centre, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hobart’s Tasman Bridge and countless driveways and small projects.
ARC Fences and Cyclone® Security Fencing are market leaders in both the domestic and industrial steel fencing markets. Products range from swimming pool and garden fencing to Chainwire and Weldmesh® fencing. These products are supplied to mining companies and schools as well as commercial and industrial customers.
International quality assurance certification to ISO 9002 from Lloyd's Register has assisted ARC in attracting over 30,000 current customers around Australia.
