Spacers and chairs for concreting provide support for both reinforcing mesh and bar, ensuring that the correct cover of concrete over the reinforcement is achieved.

Slab-on-Ground Spacers

Plastic slab-on-ground spacers are suitable for supporting both reinforcing mesh and bar in slab-on-ground applications.

Slab-on-ground spacers are made to cover two heights
These bar chairs are a dual-size plastic reinforcing
They have a flat base to minimise penetration through the waterproof membrane
The bar chairs are supplied stacked in the bag to minimise storage space

Wire Chairs

The steel-wire spacer's legs are protected with a film of plastic. Plastic-tipped bar chairs can be used in suspended slabs, beams, vertical walls and slab on ground applications.

Range of heights from 20mm to 360mm
Ensures consistent placement of reinforcement in slabs
Requires no adjustment after pouring of concrete

Metal base

Metal bases are round metal plates that support wire bar chairs on soft surfaces.

Prevents the wire spacer sinking into the ground
Metal base sizes are available to suit bar chairs up to 200mm in height

Wire Trench Mesh Clips

Wire Trench Mesh Clips provide a fast and efficient method for achieving a rigid cage for foundations.

Suitable for bar sizes 8TM, 11TM and 12TM
Provides cover from 150mm to 500mm

Plastic Trench Mesh Supports

Trench Mesh Supports are the ideal system for placing trench mesh and maintaining concrete cover to the reinforcement. Trench Mesh Supports save time and keep the reinforcement securely in position during the concrete pour.

Suitable for use with L8TM, L11TM, L12TM trench mesh and N12 bars
Supports are clipped on to the trench mesh before lowering into the trench
Positive grip ensures correct cover - no lifting required during the concrete pour
Help maintain correct minimum bottom and edge cover
Compensate for any unevenness in the excavation
Suitable for trench mesh and Z cages in strip footings and raft slabs

Plastic Continous Bar Chairs

Plastic Continuous Bar Chairs are used to speed up the placement of reinforcement.

Two metres in length
Three sizes provide cover of 25mm, 40mm or 50m
Suitable for use as a bottom deck spacer where there are two layers of reinforcement required
Suitable for ARC Rollmaster system
Used in slab-on-ground and suspended slab applications

Concrete Block Spacers

Concrete Block Spacers are a high load capacity spacer.

Range of heights from 25mm to 85mm
Tie-wire included in Wired Concrete Spacers
Wide flat base ensures no rolling or tilting
Suitable for slab-on-ground application

Clipfast Spacers

A quick, light, easy-to-use spacer for reinforcing mesh and bar. Plastic Clipfast Spacers can be used in many applications including suspended decks, in-situ walls and beams and precast panels and beams.

Non-rusting - will not stain concrete
Easy-to-apply, with a clipping action direct to the reinforcement
Wide range of types and sizes available to fit most common bar sizes and cover combinations Very economical compared with steel spacers in the lower range of covers
