Reinforcing Mesh

ARC manufactures reinforcing mesh to suit any concreting project,
large or small.

From a residential driveway or house slab all the way up to high performance precast panels, ARC has the right products for your job. And in the unlikely event we don’t already have a product that is perfect for your project, ARC has a long history of working with customers to develop one that is.

All ARC mesh products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all the requirements of the Australian construction industry.

ARC Meshes:

  • Comply with AS/NZS4671 and AS3600
  • Are ACRS certified
  • Have been manufactured in ISO 9001 accredited facilities
  • Are rigorously tested at our in-house NATA accredited laboratory.

Square Reinforcing Mesh

This general purpose mesh is used for reinforcing flat concrete elements such as floor slabs and walls.

Square mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with equal spacing in both directions to form square apertures.

Square mesh is available in sheets of two sizes:

  • Full size mesh sheets are 6m x 2.4m with side lap wires to minimise the laps between sheets on large areas
  • 4B2 Mesh® is the same high quality mesh but produced in a handy 2m x 4m sheet, perfect for smaller jobs like driveways or DIY.

Rectangular Reinforcing Mesh

This mesh is used for reinforcing thin concrete elements such as floor slabs and walls where more strength is required in one direction than the other.

Rectangular mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with different spacing in each direction to form rectangular apertures.

Rectangular mesh is produced in standard 6m x 2.4m size sheets.

Trench Reinforcing Mesh

Trench Mesh is made specifically for use in residential footing trenches.

Made from grade D500L ribbed reinforcing wire, Trench Mesh is made using a variety of longitudinal wires up to 12mm diameter.

Cross wires are at 300mm centres. Sheets are made in 6m lengths, with widths varying from depending on the number of longitudinal wires. The longitudinal wires are at 100mm centres.

The product code, for example L8TM3, refers to the ductility grade (L), diameter of main wires (8) and the number of main wires (3).

ARC SpecialMesh® Custom Mesh Products

ARC can produce a range of custom meshes for project-specific requirements.

Some of the benefits of using ARC SpecialMesh® on your next project include:

  • SpecialMesh is produced in made to order sizes, so you only pay for what you use, minimising waste
  • Saving time on site because no cutting or shaping is required
  • Use of finger laps will eliminate congestion in lapping zones.

Engineered Mesh

Manufactured from D500L Grade wires configured in variable spacing and sheet size to suit individual projects.

DuctileMesh 500®

Manufactured from R500N Grade wires (10mm only), configured in variable spacing and sheet size to suit individual projects requiring the added performance of higher ductility.
