This general purpose mesh is used for reinforcing flat concrete elements such as floor slabs and walls.
Square mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with equal spacing in both directions to form square apertures. Our Australian certified Square Reinforcing Mesh is available in a variety of diameters and spacing measurements. Square mesh is commonly used in reinforced concrete slabs such as pavements, flooring, precast panels, warehouse and industrial shed slabs, tilt-up slabs, driveways and patio slabs.
In addition to our standard size sheets for square mesh, we also stock 4B2 Mesh®. The same high quality mesh in a compact 2m x 4m size sheet, perfect for smaller jobs like driveways or DIY projects.
It's a versatile and lightweight mesh and can be handled by one person using the correct manual handling techniques. 4B2 Mesh® is designed to conform to road authorities’ transport regulations and is safe and legal to transport on utes and small trucks without overhang.
