A yearly calendar highlight for us here at ARC. On May 6, the NRL Cowboys House revealed their 2026 season kit at a launch night in Townsville.

Students, staff, partners, friends and media came together to unveil the kit, with ARC recognised as the valued shirt partner for another year, continuing our partnership since 2023.

This year’s shirt marks a first, with a Year 8 house student crafting the design emblazoned across the polos. Pryce Mara from Bamaga created the beautiful Indigenous design titled ‘Ngaw Gidha’ (My Story).

Attending the event on the night to celebrate the launch included ARC General Manager Ben Smith and ARC Townsville Operations Manager Nathan Stolz.

Speaking on the partnership as we head into our third year, GM Ben Smith said it’s “rewarding” to see the impact community partnerships can create for young people, the community and our business.

“As we enter another year of the partnership, I’m proud ARC can continue to support the long-term impact Cowboys House is creating across North Queensland. What began as sponsorship has grown into a meaningful partnership focused on removing barriers, creating pathways, and supporting opportunities through education, wellbeing and employment. Seeing Cowboys House graduates join our Townsville branch has been incredibly rewarding and reinforces the value of investing in programs that create real outcomes for young people and the wider community.”

At our ARC Townsville branch we currently have two full time staff from The Cowboys House. Latrell Csukardy-Bann and Mii-Metua Joe joined us last year as Dispatch Operators. These young North Queenslanders completed the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ Dream, Believe, Achieve (DBA) Engineering Pathways training and employment program before continuing to secure employment with us here at ARC.

One of the greatest things about being a House Partner to the NRL Cowboys House means we get to faciliate students through our doors, supporting them as the explore different career paths. At our Townsville branch, we celebrated our 8th work placement student from The Cowboy’s House when Racyna joined us exploring everything from residential scheduling and site tours through to the customer service and invoicing side of things.

At ARC, we’ve been proud to support more than 100 Indigenous students through education, apprenticeship training, and job placement since partnering with the incredible NRL Cowboys House in April 2023. A number that continues to grow.

“What stands out the most about working with ARC is their genuine commitment to creating opportunities for our students and communities. Having ARC proudly represented on the NRL Cowboys House shirt is a visible reminder to students that there are people and organisations supporting them and wanting them to succeed,” said Cowboys Community Foundation General Manager for Fundraising & Partnerships, Connor McKay.

Continuing, he added:

However, their commitment goes far beyond a logo. From hosting work experience students from the House, supporting our Dream, Believe, Achieve program, volunteering for our 50:50 raffles, and being a constant presence for our students, ARC continues to play a significant part in helping create strong foundations for our young people. We’re proud to continue building on the meaningful opportunities and the partnership we’ve grown together.”

Here’s to another season with the NRL Cowboys House. Stay tuned for more updates and events throughout the year and make sure to follow their journey, learn more and get involved here.
