Building Futures, Together with the NRL Cowboys House
Meet Latrell Bann and Mii Joe from North Queensland, who have hit the ground running as dispatch operators at ARC Townsville, with Area Manager John Reeves sharing that they’re steadily progressing through training and fitting in very well with the team.
These young North Queenslanders completed the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ Dream, Believe, Achieve (DBA) Engineering Pathways training and employment program before continuing to secure employment with us here at ARC.
At ARC, we’ve been proud to support more than 100 Indigenous students through education, apprenticeship training, and job placement since partnering with the incredible NRL Cowboys House in April 2023. A number that continues to grow.

Just last week, year 10 Cowboys House student, Naraira, completed her first day of work experience as part of her career transitions program and is delighted to be working with ARC while she explores her career interest in manual trades. We have no doubt that she also has a bright future ahead of her.
Branch presence through community engagement is central to our strategy. With over 45 locations nationwide, ARC is invested in being close to our customers and communities, ensuring we can deliver reinforcing steel solutions with a genuine connection to the regions we serve.
We are so proud and honoured to play a small part in the journey of these students, and grateful of our partnership and friendship with the NRL Cowboys House.
